Roger Beck

Senior Pastor

Roger was born in Morganton, NC, where he answered the call to preach, when he was 16 years old. He has Served as Senior Pastor at Meadowbrook since 1993
Roger is a graduate of;

Glen Alpine High School
Averett College (Bachelor Degree)
Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Masters of Divinity)

Roger has served four churches in North Carolina and Virginia in forty-five years in the pastorate. He is married to Janice Beck and they have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. Roger loves working in the yard, playing golf, and watching Tarheel Basketball.

Tim Baker

Associate Pastor

Tim grew up in Lenoir NC with his mother and grandparents. In 1990 Tim joined the Marines. After his tour, he came back to Lenoir and started his college education. Tim attended:

Caldwell Community College
Guilford Technical Community College
UNC-Greensboro

Tim received an AAS degree in Cardiovascular Sonography. And was registered through the ARDMS as a RDCS, RVT, Until he retired in 2011. He worked several places including Green Bay, Wisconsin. During this time Tim Married his wife Shawn, and had four children, Ashley, Elijah, Isaac, Christien. They have been married for 27 years. They now have four grand children Amelia, Ember, Adelaide, and Eden. Shortly after surrendering to his call in 2012, Tim joined Meadowbrook Baptist Church in 2014. In 2016 Meadowbrook Licensed Tim as a Minister. In 2017 Tim became the Associate/Media Pastor. In 2019 Tim was called before the Caldwell Baptist Association for ordination. Tim was ordained as a minister on 01/12/2020. Tim continues to serve at Meadowbrook.

Donna Spivey

Administrative Assistant

Donna grew up on a farm outside of Charlotte, NC. She’s been doing administrative duties since high school. In her 20’s she started attending church which led to being saved by her Lord and Savior. After marrying her husband Ed Spivey in 1995, she moved here to Caldwell County. Donna started employment with Meadowbrook Baptist Church in February of 2015. Their family consists of one daughter, Samantha and her husband Dakota and their daughter Blakely, and one son, Joe. Donna and Ed are members of Mulvale Baptist Church in Collettsville, NC where they have lived since 1998. Donna enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, kayaking and hiking.
